Lift operation information

Lift operating hours	8:30 – 16:15 May change depending on the weather. The Chusha slope only operates on Sat, Sun, and holidays.
Equipment that can be brought on the lift	Skis, snowboards, outrigger skis, monoskis, Telemark skis, skiboards, NICO, and snowscoots *Infants and young children must be secured in a back-mounted or front-mounted baby carrier when boarding the lift. Please take great care when using the lift.

Trail guide

4 advanced trails down the front with distinctive characters

The 4 trails down the front of the ski area each have their own characteristics, and are ideal for practicing with moguls, uneven terrain, or even terrain. Since they are on the north slope, conditions don’t change much in the afternoon, so they provide excellent skiing conditions all day long.

The best-groomed snow trail

One of the best-groomed snow slopes in the country, this is used by top class skiers, as well. Please experience this excellently-groomed trail.

Amazingly light powder snow

Experience amazingly light powder snow on days when snow has really accumulated. The steep slope has popular trails early in the morning after it snows.

Go to Togakushi if you want to become an expert

Advanced skiers congregate in Togakushi, which is a shortcut to improvement! A wide range of practicing can be done to prepare for badge tests, races, and more.

Elementary trail to enjoy the stunning view from the summit!

There are moderate trails for both ski and snowboard beginners to use with peace of mind, and you can quickly board a lift. The summit has a 360-degree panoramic view and is okay for elementary skiers now somewhat used to skiing. Really enjoy the great outdoors.

Ninja training to improve your skiing

We have prepared a number of attractions on the very popular Ninja Slope. It's designed so you naturally get better as you do these fun challenges, so it's popular even with small children!

Academy's Rental Togakushi has a wide selection of colorful ski wear. Equipment is changed out every year, so it's not damaged or broken, and even beginners can use it with peace of mind.

Leave your ski slope debut to us

Located close to Guest House Iwato, Lift #4 is the lift we recommend for beginners, and even the freshest of rookies can board it. It's the same slope from where you get off to where you get on, which is another point that makes it easy to ski there!

Plenty of items so kids & families never get bored

The nice thing about the Togakushi ski area is that the whole family can enjoy the snowy mountains even if they can’t ski or snowboard. We offer our full support to both energetic kids who want to play a lot, and moms and dads who want to leave young children with someone and rejoice in winter!

Reassuring and convenient Kids Park

The Kid’s Park is equipped with a 30-meter moving walkway. They can ride it while still wearing skis, making it easy to ski over and over again. Skiing and sledding are done is separate areas to avoid accidents.

Fun rental items that let you travel light

A wide variety of rental equipment such as sleds specially selected by our snow-loving staff. There are various toys to play with, and everyone from children to adults will enjoy them.

Childcare service for 2 hours or longer

The day nursery in Guest House Iwato is handled by dedicated staff of certified personnel. Children over a year and a half old can be left there in an environment where they can play a lot in a warm room!
