Togakushi Ski Field has things for the whole family to enjoy!

Naturally, you can play in the snow, but we also recommend Togakushi for making your skiing debut.
At Togakushi Ski Field, get to know the snow out in nature.
The gently sloping course safe even for small children has a constant gradient between both ends of the lift, so you can make your skiing debut with peace of mind.
There are also a Kids Park complete with moving walkway and the Ninja Slope, plus a restaurant with a kids menu.
There are also economical family lift ticket packages.

Kids Park

The snow at Togakushi Ski Field is light and fluffy, making it ideal for you first time playing in the snow.
We also have a full assortment of toys for playing in the snow.

    A full range of ski equipment and snow toys to rent

    At the rental shop on the 2nd floor of Guest House Iwato, you can consult with ski school instructors as you choose your equipment. Please feel free to ask about anything you don’t understand or that worries you. Choose the color and pattern of your ski wear from a wide range of designs that will get your heart racing. Equipment is replaced every year, so you can feel safe and secure making your choice there.

    The easily accessible dining hall has plenty of items to please your family, with sweet curry for kids served with fried chicken, the ever-popular miso ramen noodles, and crispy fried potatoes you can enjoy sharing. A favorite in Nagano Prefecture, “oyaki” filled with slightly sweet pumpkin or anko (sweet beans) are popular with children. At the restaurant, there are also a variety of drinks such as warm milk and cocoa. Whether dining or just taking a break, the restaurant meets a variety of needs.

    Moving Walkway Makes It Easy to Get Around

    Kids Park wants you to thoroughly enjoy sledding or your skiing debut, so it’s equipped with a 30 m moving walkway. After you see how much fun it is sliding down the slope, you can get on the walkway still wearing your skis. The powerful drive system means you can travel smoothly without the stress of taking your skis off and putting them back on. Also note that the sledding area and ski area are separate, so you can use them with peace of mind.

Securely-managed Nursery Facility

You can leave children here for two hours or longer. The nursery in Guest House Iwato is supervised by qualified staff.
